Supreme Training Powerlifting Competition - 04/08/2019 - 15/12/2019

After the success of our first Powerlifting Competition, I wanted to through another competition and help out novice lifters. I had several coaches from around the North East wanting to enter their clients to gain some experience. Again, the second Powerlifting competition was a huge success and I wanted to throw one more before closing the gym down.

#repost ・・・ I AM ON CLOUD 9 🤩 In case you didn’t see all of the spam on my story yesterday... I competed in my first powerlifting meet, smoothly ran by the guys at @supreme__training 👌🏻 • • • I had zero expectations on the day and came out feeling very happy with my performance. I’ve only been training with @bigalexanderclarke for this for 17 weeks and it’s clear that his methods work very well 😌 • • • Anyone who knows me will know that I’ve had a mental block against nailing that 100kg squat. Turns out, it’s gone. It was well and truly all in my head. I walked up to the bar and the ref said “same again”. So I did exactly that... but a little slower 😂 • • • The support I’ve received from doing this is overwhelming. Over Instagram and in person and I am ridiculously grateful 💕😭 I’m also very, very happy to have had my coach my by side to guide me through everything, taking off any unnecessary pressure. I’m even more happy that @sambaconpt was there to see me do this for the first time. I know how proud he is that I finally took the leap! 😌 It’s also great fun to compete alongside friends, @jackedpersonaltraining and @guscradd - it was an absolute pleasure to share the platform with you both. Great lifting all round 👌🏻👊🏻 • • • Swipe to see a couple of pictures of me with various important people and the following lifts; Squat - 100kg ✔️ Bench - 62.5kg ✔️ 67.5 ✖️ Deadlift - 115kg ✔️ 122.5kg ✖️ Sound on for that last deadlift video for a little lol 😂 • • • Find something that your truly enjoy and you’ll never see a drop in motivation. You’ll always want more. I can’t wait to get back into the gym ahead of the next comp! 💪🏻 HAPPY MONDAY, go crush it! #powerlifting #smallfry #girlswholift #squat #bench #deadlift #girlswithmuscle #getstrong #strongnotskinny #strongwomen #strong #happy #lift #womenempoweringwomen #motivation #motivationmonday #progress #proud #100 #pt #ne1 #newcastlepersonaltrainer #newcastleupontyne #supremetraining
